About Us
History
WDN Albania was founded in 2010, building on a growing commitment to advancing women’s leadership and democratic participation, and was formally registered as an independent non-profit organization in 2012.
- 2010 - We first started our work
- 2011-2012 The first Women in leadership academy
- 2012 - Registered as ALBANIAN NGO
- 2014 - Expansion of national programs and leadership
- 2025-Launched regional work in the Western Balkans.
Since 2025, WDN Albania has extended its work to the Western Balkans, contributing to regional cooperation and cross-border initiatives, while continuing to support women, youth, and communities across Albania.
